Jimah phase 2, Powerplant Ground improvement for the Ash Pond

CeTeau has completed the second phase of a large soil improvement project in Port Dickson, Malaysia for the Jimah East Power Plant Project. CeTeau has installed approximately 1 million meter Prefabricated Vertical Drains (PVD) to a depth of 25 meter in less than one month time by using two rigs. The original site was a swamp area and the soil needed to be improved before building of the ash pond could start. A sand platform has been reclaimed with a height of approximately 7 meter above the water level as a working platform.

During the earlier phase of this project CeTeau installed 13 million meter PVD in two months by using 12 installation rigs.
